Clinical Supervisor/Assistant to the Counselor Training Center Director

This part-time position supports the clinical skill development of graduate counseling students by providing direct supervision to students working in the Leahy Behavioral Health Clinic and/or Counselor Training Center (CTC). This position also facilitates administrative tasks and supervision in collaboration with the CTC director within the Counseling and Human Services Department.

This position is grant funded for one year.

Essential Duties:

- Supervise graduate counseling students enrolled in practicum and/or internship in the delivery of individual and group counseling services for underserved community members

- Supervise administrative aspects of counseling file maintenance and documentation of supervision activities

- Monitor sessions through the use of video recording technology

- Monitor clinic operations to be consistent with counseling ethics, clinic policy and best practice

- Assist CTC director in program development and implementation

- Assist in administrative tasks including scheduling, record keeping and report writing

- Communicate with referral sources and departmental faculty as needed

- Assist with the evaluation of counseling graduate students work

Master’s degree in counseling and holds a PA Counseling License (LPC- licensed professional counselor in PA) plus five (5) years post master’s degree preferably with varied populations

Twelve (12) hours/ per week split across one (1) day and one (1) evening during academic sessions. Would include some summer hours.
