Class A CDL Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated CDL Class A instructor. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide training and instruction to new and current students.

Duties
- Conduct training sessions
- Educate drivers on safe driving practices, regulations, and company policies
- Demonstrate proper operation of commercial vehicles
- Provide classroom instruction on topics such as air brakes, tanker operations, and commercial driving techniques
- Assess driver performance and provide feedback for improvement

Skills
- Possess in-depth knowledge of truck driving, including air brake systems and tractor-trailer operations
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage students
- Ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

• Candidate must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Favorable MVR over the last three (3) years.
• Candidate must not be prohibited in the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Current Class A CDL required.

Experience:

· Truck driving: 3 years (Required)

· Tractor-trailer: 3 years (Required)
