At The Green Ridge Club we’re passionate about delivering top-notch hospitality and unforgettable experiences. We’re looking for a part-time (15-20 hours a month) detail-oriented, experienced Bookkeeper to take over and keep our finances running smoothly!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper with food & beverage industry experience to manage our day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accuracy in reporting, and keep our accounting processes in top shape. The ideal candidate is well-versed in QuickBooks, understands the unique financial workflows of restaurants and event venues, and is comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily & Monthly Accounting Tasks:

    • Record and reconcile sales, expenses, and vendor invoices

    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

    • Process and track payments, deposits, and cash flow

  • Payroll & Compliance:

    • Assist with payroll processing

    • Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations

    • Maintain accurate financial records for audits and tax filings

  • Financial Reporting & Budgeting:

    • Generate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

    • Monitor financial performance and provide insights to management

    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting

  • Vendor & Inventory Coordination:

    • Reconcile vendor statements and manage supplier payments

    • Track food, beverage, and supply costs to ensure profitability

    • Work with management to analyze cost trends and identify areas for savings

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have experience in the food & beverage industry (restaurant, catering, or event venue experience preferred)

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop or online)

  • Strong understanding of restaurant accounting principles, including COGS, labor costs, and revenue recognition

  • Knowledge of sales tax reporting, payroll processing, and tip allocation

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and communicate financial insights to management

  • References required
