Scranton Printing Co. is a family-owned commercial printing company proudly serving Northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond since 1907. We produce everything from offset and digital printing to labels. We have a full bindery, direct mail department, label department, and multiple machines and presses. Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our production team. This role offers a mix of responsibilities, including operating or assisting on a Jet press, helping in bindery and finishing, assisting on label rewinding equipment, and making deliveries in our company box truck. You’ll work alongside experienced press operators and finishers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates with printing or bindery experience (2+ years) are preferred, but we are willing to train on additional equipment for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Jet press (envelopes) and other printing/finishing equipment
• Troubleshoot machine problems
• Help in the bindery department with cutting, folding, stitching, packaging, and rewinding
• Load/unload materials and finished jobs for delivery
• Drive the company box truck for customer deliveries (non-CDL)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of printing, bindery, or manufacturing experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must pass a DOT-style physical to operate the company vehicle
• High degree of initiative and attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Ability to follow and apply written and verbal instructions
