There are 2 part-time positions available for this role:

  • Position #1: 9am to 1pm
  • Position #2: 1pm to 5pm

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Community Services, the Front Desk Coordinator will provide quality customer service to the incoming public by assisting clients in crisis with check-in to the proper department, greeting donors and visitors to community services.  Maintaining the welcoming friendly face of the community services department.

The ideal candidate is a motivated creative thinker who enjoys problem solving, interacting with the public, and finds reward in serving vulnerable populations. The Front Desk Coordinator navigates a fast-paced environment and diverse populations with ease by utilizing strong professionalism, inter-personal skills, de-escalation techniques, and excellent customer service. The Front Desk Coordinator is comfortable with addressing clients to determine which department they need, entering client data and utilizing office operating systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Duties will include answering phones, managing an office schedule, and greeting clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist clients with the sign in system, enroll new clients and track services provided in client information systems.
  • Print flyers for community events.
  • Assist with invoice processing.
  • Assist the public with delivery of documents, for case managers, appointment set up etc.
  • Accept office orders and address outgoing mail.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails to appropriate departments.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Help coordinate volunteer sign in/sign out schedules.
  • Accept donations and maintain a list of donors for tax purposes and send out thank you letters.
  • Assist in the Angel’s Attic pantry program as needed.
  • All of tasks as assigned by Director, Assistant Director, and CEO.

Education/Experience/Licensure

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience is required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish/Hindi/Gujarati is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 is preferred.
