Loan Processor

The Loan Processor supports the mortgage and consumer lending team by processing loan applications and preparing documentation for mortgages, home equity loans, and consumer loans. Responsibilities include reviewing loan files for compliance, preparing and distributing required disclosures, verifying income and credit information, assisting with loan processing and closing documents, and supporting reporting and administrative tasks. The position also works closely with branch staff and customers to ensure accurate, timely service while maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review loan files for completeness and compliance with Bank policies and regulations.
• Prepare and distribute required loan disclosures and documentation within regulatory timeframes.
• Verify borrower income, employment, deposits, and credit information.
• Assist with loan processing, reporting, and preparation of closing documents.
• Provide support to branch staff and the mortgage lending team regarding loan documentation and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all government, regulatory, and Bank policies and procedures.
