Operations Manager

Full-time

Salary: $18.50 Hourly

This is a full time, hourly position. The schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Meal Production & Packaging Operations

Supervise daily cold meal packaging operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency
Clearly identify special diet clients on meal labels to ensure compliance with dietary requirements
Coordinate with kitchen staff to address packaging or meal discrepancies before delivery
Monitor daily meal counts and communicate adjustments as needed

Delivery Coordination & Driver Scheduling

Check program voicemail each morning for client meal cancellations, delivery changes, holds, or special requests
Communicate delivery updates promptly to drivers and program staff
Develop and maintain driver schedules and delivery coverage
Assist with route coordination and operational problem-solving throughout the delivery day
Serve as a point of contact for drivers during daily operations

Program Administration & Compliance

Maintain accurate delivery and operational records
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of client information
Support compliance with organizational policies, food safety standards, and program regulations
Participate in operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Prior experience in operations coordination, food service management, transportation, nonprofit programs, logistics, or a related field preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database/software systems
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Experience supervising staff or coordinating teams preferred
