Position Overview
Ethixa Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, hunter-driven Sales Engineer to generate new business and expand our client base.
This is a full sales cycle role, from prospecting through close, with the ability to provide strong assistance in solution design and delivery.
Pay structure for this position is straight commission, and our generous compensation structure is built for individuals who value uncapped income potential and the ability to directly control their earnings through performance.
You will work directly with prospects to uncover challenges, assess risk, and position tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions that drive real business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate net-new business opportunities
- Own the entire sales cycle, including: Lead generation, discovery, solution design (with engineering support), proposal delivery, and closing
- Sell the full Ethixa portfolio, including: managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, Backup & disaster recovery (BCDR), cloud services, IT consulting and infrastructure projects
- Conduct and/or attend client discovery sessions to identify: security vulnerabilities, infrastructure gaps, business continuity risks
- Present solutions in clear, business-focused language
- Collaborate with internal engineering team for technical validation
- Grow and maintain prospect pipeline and track activity in CRM
- Meet and exceed defined sales quotas tied to bonus incentives
- Build relationships through networking, referrals, and local engagement
Compensation Structure
- 100% Commission-Based

Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in:
- IT sales, MSP sales, or technical solution selling
- Proven ability to prospect and close new business
- Strong understanding of business technology environments
- Comfortable leading executive-level conversations
- Self-starter with strong discipline and accountability
- Must be located in or familiar with the Northeast Pennsylvania market
Technical Skills (Preferred)
Understanding of:
- Microsoft 365 and other cloud platforms
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing)
- Cybersecurity concepts and risk mitigation
Experience with:
- Managed IT services or MSP environments
- CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics CRM, or equivalent)
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
