Position Title: Videography Intern

Reports To: Director of Marketing & Communications

Location: The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce

Duration: Academic Semester : Fall 2026

Compensation: $15.00 per hour, up to 20 hours per week

Position Overview

The Videography Intern will support the Marketing & Communications team by capturing, editing, and producing engaging video content for marketing, social media, events, and internal communications. This hands-on internship offers students the opportunity to strengthen their technical production skills while gaining valuable experience working directly with Chamber members, business leaders, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Filming & Production

  • Capture high-quality video footage of interviews, events, promotional features, and Chamber programs using DSLR or mirrorless cameras (Sony, Nikon, Canon).
  • Ensure proper composition, lighting, and audio quality during filming.

2. Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit video content using Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Premiere Pro, Audition, and Media Encoder.
  • Produce polished, platform-ready videos for social media, websites, presentations, and digital marketing campaigns.

3. Content Planning & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to align video projects with organizational goals and branding.
  • Assist in organizing, archiving, and managing digital video assets.
  • Assist with filming Chamber video series such as All Things Members, Ask the Expert, and All Things Chamber by interacting professionally with members, guests, and community partners during video shoots.

4. Live Event Support

  • Provide video support for Chamber and affiliate events, including equipment setup, recording, and highlight reel production.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Beginner to intermediate experience in video production and editing.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Experience operating Sony, Nikon, Canon, or similar camera systems.
  • Strong eye for visual storytelling, composition, and pacing.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn, accept constructive feedback, and work collaboratively.
  • Reliable transportation.
