Certified Medical Assistant/Psychiatric Scribe
Matthew A. Berger, MD, PC is looking for an organized, patient-focused Medical Assistant / Psychiatric Scribe to join our outpatient psychiatry practice. This is a hands-on, patient facing role where you will independently assist our doctors updating patient history, reviewing medications, and documenting symptoms. You'll also support clinical staff with triage calls, injections, prior authorizations, and other essential practice functions.
This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys working independently, and wants hands on experience in behavioral health.
What We're Looking For
- Medical Assistant certification/registration (CMA or RMA) required, with at least 1 year of experience in a high-volume medical office
- Prior scribing experience, especially in psychiatry or behavioral health, is a plus (Certified Medical Scribe Specialist credential welcomed but not required)
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple patients/visits at once
- Strong documentation skills, accurate, fast, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with EHR systems (Medent experience a plus) and telehealth/video platforms
- Calm, professional demeanor
- CPR certification

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour
