Field service Technician/Low Voltage Installer

Overview: Looking to join a well-established company serving the education, healthcare and commercial markets in (22) counties of Northeast PA then look no further.  Guyette Communications is expanding our service team in multiple areas.

• Camera/access control tech
•   Pro audio and A/V installer/programmer
• Data/fiber installer
• Installer for paging, sound and nurse call, including programming

Required Skills:

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications and schematics
• Physically fit, climb ladders, and knowledge of hand and power tools
• Be able to lift up to 70lbs.
• Have a valid, clean driver’s license; complete clearances for jobsites as required
• Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with high attention to detail
• Basic electronics and computer skills

Experience:

• Troubleshooting ability and knowledge to diagnose both analog and digital issues
• Knowledge and understanding of using test equipment such as multimeter,   

    continuity tester, OTDR, etc.

• Have some construction knowledge as well as technical aptitude

Duties include:

• Cable install
• Device mounting and programming as needed
• Wiring, testing and troubleshooting system headend
• Integration to multiple systems
