Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

Under the direction of the Manager and assistance from other more skilled maintenance personnel, the Tech will be responsible for scheduled maintenance tasks, assisting in repairing all equipment, and documenting maintenance tasks and repairs on production lines and equipment within their shift. The Technician must be able to work on electrical cabinet, process equipment, within a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment. The incumbent will display a commitment to AZEK Core Values. Applicants must have a strong industrial electrical background. *This position will be labeled as Maintenance Tech II.*

Experience and Education:

  • 3+ years of experience as an electro mechanic in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of AC/DC control circuits
  • Experience with VFD and motor controls
  • Ability to read, understand & interpret electrical, pneumatic & Hydraulic schematics
  • PLC knowledge – I/O troubleshooting or some programming, a plus
  • Experience in operating of electrical test equipment.
  • Electrical knowledge of 230/480v 3 phase power
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Advanced education and/or related certification(s), a plus
  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. The position requires walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through the day. The employee may reach above shoulder heights or below the waist or lift as required to store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required.
